Our menus range from eggs benedict, freshly made pasta and cheese boards right through to burgers, fillet steak, and slow-roasted pork belly. If you’re craving it, we make it – just the way you like it.
Our wine list would be something to brag about, if we were the bragging type. Find everything from your favourite reds and whites to some interesting blends and unusual varieties. You’re guaranteed to find the ideal pairing for your meal.
In addition to our menu, we also run daily blackboard menus which showcase the freshest of the fresh goodness we source from our locals.
Virginia Woolf famously wrote, “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.”
That’s kind of our motto, too. And it is not lost on us that she wrote this in ‘A Room of One’s Own’. This is why we’re proud to offer you the Forge@Copper Kettle, a private room that you can use as, well…your own. It’s the ideal setting for birthdays, anniversaries, conferences or meetings, or even just as a nice intimate space for a dinner with friends.
Both the Forge and the main dining area have fireplaces to add to the ambience, or, you know, to light when it gets cold.

Well, it’s simple, really. Our menu doesn’t need to pretend to be anything it’s not. It’s plenty fancy without the price tag of pretentious.
You see, you’re not going to find showy foams or shiny pearls or tiny bite-sized plates “for two” here. You’re going to find really great, really hearty food, responsibly sourced from local farmers who meet our exacting standards. High-quality ingredients lie at the heart of every meal we present (beautifully, we might add) and if it’s not fresh, it’s not on our plates.
Our premises are exactly what one would expect from a Stellenbosch establishment – exquisite. Our perfect combination of trendy and traditional leaves you feeling sophisticated yet thoroughly at home. Our grounds are…well, we’re not going to use words like ‘deeply nestled’ or ‘green hues’ or ‘rolling landscape’ but we could. Let’s just say that if you’re looking to immerse yourself in the Cape’s unique nature, our spot is the place to do it.
We’re also 100% child and dog friendly, so whether your kids have fur or skin, they’re more than welcome to come play here.
